Good food and good drinks but the baristas are so rude for a little coffee house in a little town they should be way nicer, and for the price! It’s disappointing Bc id love to love lyric but I can’t

Why are coffee shops great? Because they have wifi, comfortable chairs nice atmosphere, and they let you sit hours for the price of a single cup of coffee. Much like this place ;)

Adorable cafe with an even better history. When stopping you must check out the information on how the building was restored. I had the chai tea iced (at the recommendation of the owner) and it was fantastic.

Yummy coffee and food. Nice atmosphere. Our first visit had a local artist singing in the shop. You can have your coffee and food in the shop or take it to go.

Nice and comfy local coffee joint. Only had some decaf coffee... It was good!

A great place to stop by for a mid-day coffee drink and snack! Cool atmosphere and love that they paid homage to what was there before.

Went to a cake decorating class here. It was amazing and fun. The staff here are friendly and the drink menu is plentiful. Cute place, definitely plan on revisiting.

The owner was the one taking our order and she was extremely rude to all 3 of us. The prices were a high as well. We ended up being charged 5 dollars for a simple black coffee. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I love the lyric ,the service is wonderful,coffees are great,in the winter it's nice to sit by the fire,or in the summer it's nice to sit out side

Whenever my gf and i travel, we love the coffee spots. And for the area, this IS the coffee spot you should try! The moment my gf and i sipped our beverages, no words were said, just that look we gave eachother and that satisfying grunt sound left our mouth. 10/10

Excellent food and drink here. I have ordered a English muffin with cheese, egg and sausage. Yummy and juicy. The environment is perfect. It provides a outdoor dining area that allows dogs or pets to stay. Lyric is a place that suits for seating for a whole afternoon.

Always one of my favorite stops in the area! The homemade bakery goods and soups are always delicious! The drinks? Hand crafted and truly wonderful! The best part is the staff is super attentive and always smiling! Kathy has created a cozy, perfect and amazing gem in the Lyric!

Excellent atmosphere. This is such a cute little place in Downton Clayton. I got the chai latte with vanilla and a cheesecake bite and both were soooo delicious. We had our book club meeting here (three people) and we were super cozy by the fireplace. The woman behind the counter was so friendly and the prices were way better than Dunkin or Starbucks. I highly recommend.

Great small local business, served some quick to order coffee. Looking forward to returning for future coffee drunks. When we had two drinks that were similar, but slightly different.... They made it a point to make sure we knew which one was which as they handed them to us.

Was in town for the week and immediately made this my friend and I’s hang out spot. We’d bring a book/our laptops and grab a drink, then sit for hours working and chatting. The prices aren’t bad for the sizes and the staff is so friendly and patient.

Good coffee, but some of the staff (=young women) need to learn a bit more about customer service. As in face customers when talking to them, especially when delivering unexpected news like "we're out of brewed coffee (=because I didn't keep an eye on it and failed to make a new pot in time)". And apologize for such and smile. Don't call customers "nasty" even if they might be (I wasn't, btw). Don't complain about customers with coworkers while said customers are still in earshot. And managent: Don't try to charge full price for a second cup (refill) of black coffee.

The Mocha Frappuccino was outstanding. We come here every year when we are in Clayton New York and every year this place just has that specialty to it that makes it unique. I WILL be back here again!

Delicious! Great options, I ordered the Island Breeze frozen, it was amazing. A small was plenty enough for me. The cakes and pies looked wonderful but I skipped them this time. Maybe next time!
